The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust

More affectionately known as the Elephant Orphanage, the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust aims to protect elephants and rhinoceros orphaned as a result of poaching. Visitors are invited to witness the good work being done by the organisation as well as meeting its adorable charges face to face. Those wishing to ‘adopt’ an elephant by donating to its ongoing care are encouraged to do so, and receive regular updates on their child’s progress.
